Responsibilities:
- Maintains all safety and accident records
- Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards.
- Develop and implement Safety programs
- Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility
- Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives
- Contribute to administration of EHS programs
- Prepare, maintain and update environmental policy and procedure manuals
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations
- Keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization
- Serves as contact with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory bodies
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management
- Follow and implement OSHA regulations
- Industrial manufacturing experience
- Strong working knowledge of EH&S regulations, compliance requirements
- Continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of EHS/OSHA/EPA regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to EH&S
- Certification in EHS programs and practices
- Expert knowledge of safety system analysis
