Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain SOPs for various accreditation organizations (AIHA, VLAP)
- Enforce safety standards and apply quality management practices to ensure accurate and efficient testing services.
- Perform chemical analyses, operate and maintain lab equipment (GC/MS, ICP/MS, FLAA), and ensure compliance with lab protocols.
- Train Laboratory Assistants, ensure data accuracy, and draft technical reports.
Qualifications
- BS from following disciplines: Chemistry, Biology or equivalent
- At least 5 years of testing experience with GC/MS, ICP/MS & FLAA
- Extensive practical experience in a chemical laboratory
- Experienced with instrumental analysis techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common software applications
