Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct maintenance personnel and contractors, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maximize equipment capability and utilize preventative maintenance schedules
- Manage financial responsibilities for inventory and spare parts procurement
- Plan and execute line and equipment changeovers to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and promote teamwork and strong work ethics
Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree or comparable experience is required.
- 3-5 years of supervising maintenance employees in a manufacturing environment with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields.
- Demands strong technical skills, with the ability to apply basic electrical and mechanical principles to practical, hands-on situations (not afraid to get their hands dirty).
- Multi-shift leadership experience is required
- Must be capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting business information, journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
