Responsibilities
- Oversee production activities across multiple shifts to meet efficiency, volume, cost, and quality standards.
- Represents the plant in management meetings, reporting on KPIs and recommending continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manages inventory, workplace organization (5S), employee morale, safety, and efficiency
- Prioritizes projects to reduce costs and improve delivery and cash flow; responsible for hiring, training, and performance coaching
- Coordinates activities between departments and shifts, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- At least eight years of experience in a production management role
- Extensive experience in Lean methodologies is required, with Six Sigma and APICS training.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office software is required
