Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Industrial Mechanic. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall success of our food manufacturing plant.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installation. You will also be responsible for collaborating with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
- Experience with electrical systems, including relays, switches, and motors, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and cleaning equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using a Digital Multimeter (DMM).
- Develop and implement effective lockout/tagout procedures to ensure workplace safety.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; minimum 3 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and ability to program them is a plus.
