Doorperson- AKA Rittenhouse Square

AKA Rittenhouse Square is looking for a Doorperson!

The doorperson will be taking care of the residents luggage, on arrival and departure, storage of luggage and equipment, safely, when needed, park all guests/visitors cars, and provide an efficient and friendly service to our residents in respect of general hotel security and resident relations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• AKA ambassador to area business and neighbors.
• Knowledge of means of transportation to and from property and local attractions (i.e. bus, subway, train, cab, walk, etc.)
• Ensure property remains secure by controlling who enters the property should be there.
• Load and unload luggage carts with extra care.
• Escort residents to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services and amenities.
• Explain features of the room including operation of radio, telephone, television, in-room movie system, high-speed Internet, etc.
• Knowledge of equipment components located in suites (i.e. TV, thermostat, HVAC, etc.)
• Check/store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
• Deliver messages and notes as needed to meeting rooms and resident rooms.
• Deliver flowers, laundry, packages, and amenities as requested to resident rooms.
• Assist in room changes.
• Assist residents with a listing of local attractions, special events, churches, restaurants, etc.
• Maintaining high standards of personal appearance as outlined by the AKA Image requirements including wearing the proper uniform attire at all times while on the property.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all residents, managers and Team Members.
• Other duties as assigned.
