Position Overview :

The HR Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role ensures HR initiatives align with organizational goals and fosters a positive and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Employee Relations :
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution in a professional manner.
  • Support management in addressing employee performance issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Benefits Administration :
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address related questions or issues.
  • Compliance :
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
  • HR Policy and Procedure Management :
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the employee handbook and ensure consistent application of policies across the organization.
  • Performance Management :
  • Support the performance appraisal process by training managers and employees on best practices and tools.
  • Training and Development :
  • Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
  • Identify employee development needs and recommend training solutions.
  • HR Reporting and Metrics :
  • Compile and analyze HR data, including turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee engagement metrics.
  • Provide regular reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • HR Systems and Technology :
  • Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records and ensure data integrity.
  • Leverage HR technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience :
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Experience in a generalist capacity or in multiple HR disciplines is preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Work Environment :

  • This position is 100% in office. Working in an office setting
  • Working hours : Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • Office is located in Pomona, CA
