Qualification Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be available and able to work the agreed upon shift. (6am-2pm)

Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Read and understand detailed work order instructions
• Use a forklift to locate and retrieve parts that are needed for assembly, if not already pulled. May need to use computer to find the location of specific part
• Assemble and attach the retrieved parts to the cooling package in accordance with the blueprint instruction
• Place label on the finished cooling package, and sign the order list to document completion
• Package cooler assembly for shipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report any issues to the supervisor, or appropriate personnel, as soon as detected
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and/or requirements set forth in AKG's environmental management system (EMS)
• Regular physical attendance is an essential requirement for this position. Refer to AKG attendance policy section of the Information Handbook for Employees, received during the orientation process

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand (100%) and walk (25%) of the time. May also be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist, and turn.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (25%) of the time.
• Must be able to use a chain hoist, pallet jack, wrapping machines, and scales.
• Must wear safety equipment such as steel toe shoes and safety glasses. Safety glasses are provided.
