Position Title : Accounting Specialist
Location : Anchorage, Alaska
Pay : $22-$28 Hr-DOE
Full-Time : Mon-Fri daytime hours
Summary : - Accounting Specialist
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for clerical and accounting operations within the organization. This position provides oversight to accounting and administrative staff.
Essential Functions : - Accounting Specialist
- Oversee and fill in as needed for all corporate accounting and administrative staff.
- Provide accounting support and training.
- Review and monitor all daily ledger activity for accuracy.
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
- Ensure all daily bank deposits have been made.
- Reconcile accounts promptly.
- Maintain inventory and order when necessary : checks, deposit slips, deposit stamps, etc.
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
Requirements
