AKHIRE is currently recruiting for the following position :

Description : General l aborers- 30- day and 90- day assignment

Location : Palmer, AK

Pay : $20- 23. / hour (DOE), Assignment and Certifications

Summary :

AKHIRE is currently recruiting laborers for a 6- day-on, 1 day off (per week) assignment, traveling to Fairbanks.

  • We are looking for hard workers, preferably with some mine experience.
  • We work on immovable machinery like crushers and conveyors at mine sites.
  • We go out on contracts that we receive within the state of Alaska.
  • Current job is due to last the next 90 days.
  • These jobs come with some travel, food and lodging while you are on site at the mine.
  • This job will require overtime work, (12- hour shifts), which will add to your average hourly pay.
  • Dependent upon initial "working interview," some employees may be added as long-term placements.

Requirements

  • One year of General labor experience on non- movable machinery (OR); two years of welding and fabrication experience required to be considered for the position.
  • MSHA certification is required of all workers, skill set certification (may vary from job to job), related to the job you are hired to perform.
  • We are ideally looking for workers that already have MSHA training and certification. If you had an MSHA certification and it has expired you will need to take the refresher course online before starting the job (we will pay for the refresher course).

    • IMPORTANT : You must pass a drug test and full background check before we can place you at the mines.

    Salary : $20 - $23
