Overview :
O'Malley Ice LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team at the Sullivan Arena. This full-time position is responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of our ice rink and sports facilities.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to perform a variety of tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our staff, guests, and athletes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks around the facility, including the ice rink, locker rooms, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events, hockey games, and other activities.
- Provide support for the operation and upkeep of equipment, including ice resurfacing machines, snow removal equipment, and other tools.
- Handle basic repairs and report more complex maintenance issues to the facility manager.
- Ensure the safety of all guests and staff by maintaining clean, safe, and organized spaces.
- Assist in the transport of equipment and materials as needed.
- Assist with snow removal and exterior grounds cleanup as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in general labor, maintenance, or facility support is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
This is an hourly position; starting rate will be based on experience.
