What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Volunteer position at Akin?
Position Description:
We are seeking a volunteer to pick up cases of dry food product and bags of snacks from a feeding program warehouse located in Renton (requires loading them in their vehicle) and transporting them to our site in Kent, to include unloading the cases into a designated area at the Kent site. Recommended vehicle: SUV, Van or Truck to accommodate cases.
May also support other occasional transport needs between sites as presented.
Time Commitment:
- Current pick up schedule is the first Tuesday of each month between 10am-10:30am from Renton.
Requirements:
- Must have working vehicle and insurance
- Successful completion of a drivers check
