Akira is building a talent pipeline for a future Enterprise Architect position. The ideal candidate will lead and direct large teams across diverse functional and technical disciplines, working closely with senior executives to drive enterprise strategy and business alignment. Ideal candidates should be based in the DC Metro Area or willing to relocate.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and direct large teams, including enterprise architects, systems engineers, business analysts, and network engineers.
- Work directly with senior executives to consult, coach, and advise on strategy, business alignment, enterprise architecture, and IT solutions.
- Coordinate resolution of highly complex problems, advocating for new ideas and concepts to support operational goals.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to enterprise architecture teams.
- Integrate and translate complex concepts into tactical action plans.
- Direct high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
- Deep understanding of DoD business transformation and processes.
- Experience in DoD organizational structures and compliance requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of DoDAF, DoD Net-Centric and Data Strategies, DoD Information Assurance Guidance, and DoD Federation Strategy.
- Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architecture and Business Strategy and Roadmap.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives in federal or defense environments.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or CISSP.
- Familiarity with cloud architectures and enterprise-level cybersecurity strategies.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $175,000
