AKIRA Warehouse Associate
Are you a fast-paced, detail oriented, and collaborative individual who thrives on delivering results? Then this may be the position for you! AKIRA is a Chicago-based Women's Fast Fashion Retailer with 30 stores across the U.S. with a strong e-commerce presence. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and ready-to-learn Order Fulfillment Processor(s) as well as Inventory Processors to join our team.

Schedule Pay
Distribution: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, starting $17.00/hr
Fulfillment: Tuesday- Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, starting $17.00/hr
Fulfillment: Saturday- Monday, 6:00am to 6:30pm, starting $18.50/hr
Responsibilities may include:
- Safely operate in a warehouse environment
- Perform warehouse duties such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping
- Able to push, pull, lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Be able to receive and give feedback effectively
- Follow work instructions
- Operate scanners/computers related to warehouse operations
- Stand/walk 10 hours a day
- All other responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the role
