AKIRA is a Chicago-based Women's Fast Fashion Retailer with 30 stores across the U.S. with a strong e-commerce presence. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and ready-to-learn Inventory Processor(s).

Job Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Starting Salary: $17.00 an hour

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities may include:

• Perform warehouse duties involving AKIRA inventory: sort, censor, tag, scan, pack
• Work efficiently as part of a team and follow work instructions
• Safely operate in a warehouse environment
• Be able to receive and give feedback effectively
• Operate scanners/computers related to warehouse operations
• Cross-train and rotate through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business.
• All other responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Solid understanding of safety regulations
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Keen eye for detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to push, pull, lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the role
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 8-hour shift
