Lead Test Automation Engineer
Full-time / Direct Hire Opportunity
Hybrid- 3 days a week onsite in New Castle, DE
Target Salary Range: $160k-$180k annually; Rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
This role entails selecting testing tools/frameworks from scratch, interacting with the product team
Key Skills Include:
- 5 years in software testing and automation, with a focus on web applications.
- Experience within a leadership role with experience in IoT or instrumentation-based systems.
- Expertise in tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, and JMeter for automation.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, WebSockets) and cloud integrations (AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
- Testing Methodologies
- Experience in C# (.NET Core), Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with .NET Core for building and testing web applications and APIs.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Agile environment experience
