Akkodis is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a 3-year Contract position with a client located in Jacksoneville. FL (Remote).
Pay Range: $18/hr-$20/hr on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service via phone and email, following specific protocols for different clients and call types.
- Assist callers with online portal access, login support, and navigation.
- Educate providers on using the Automated Benefit Claims system.
- Handle an average of 5 calls per hour (35 per day), with a max of 30 minutes of after-call work daily.
- Keep call hold times under 2 minutes; escalate issues as needed per guidelines.
- Close open customer service cases (CRMs) within 15 business days or sooner if urgent.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of plan benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Follow technical protocols for system performance and meet all at-home setup requirements.
- Stay proficient in all service systems, keeping login credentials current.
- Fully document each call (unless instructed otherwise) and maintain call quality scores of 90% or higher.
- Actively participate in team meetings and report any issues (technical, procedural, or customer-related).
- Manage schedule adherence in the contact center system (RingCentral).
- Maintain high availability status when not on a call—call avoidance is not permitted.
- Seek help when unsure and escalate complex claims or concerns appropriately.
Minimum suggested Qualifications:
- HIPAA and Medical Terminology courses helpful.
- Prior health care or Insurance background required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly developed organizational abilities.
- Prior keyboarding experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows 95 and Outlook.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
