Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid). Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, configuring and upgrading Workday Financials, and creating reports for the accounting team, while also identifying and implementing process improvements.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $75/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Implementing, developing, and supporting Workday Financial systems, with a focus on the Banking and Settlement Module.
• Upgrading, configuring, and implementing updates for Workday Financials, including go-lives.
• Gathering business requirements and working with project managers to incorporate them into project plans.
• Creating and maintaining reports for the accounting team, addressing financial processes such as GL close, A/P, and taxes.
• Solving complex system-related issues and designing or implementing systems to meet business needs.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
• Providing timely and accurate documentation and communication to the project team.
• Driving results through effective collaboration with business teams and acting as a champion for process improvements.
• Offering training and support to team members and business users as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing, developing, and supporting Workday Financial systems, with at least 2 years focusing on the Banking and Settlement Module.
• Strong background in accounting and financial concepts, including GL close processes, consolidations, A/P, Banking, and Taxes.
• Experience with OCR implementation, Adaptive Reporting, and providing effective training on processes.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
