What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engine Calibration and Testing Professional position at Akkodis?
We are looking for a skilled powertrain calibration engineer to set control system parameters with respect to energy usage, torque security, emissions, fuel consumption, performance, combustion, and diagnostics to reach project requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle drive-ability calibration and control, knowledge and understanding of electrical hardware and software systems, hands-on experience understanding and working with complex control functions, excellent system level problem solving and analytical skills, and effective customer communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities include optimization according to engineering targets regarding performance, engine/vehicle emissions, start ability, secure operations, and diagnostic functions, definition of e-drive, engine, and vehicle tests needed to reach customer performance requirements, and verification of engine and vehicle emissions control devices for capability to achieve required emission level.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 1 or more years of experience in edrive or engine controls or powertrain experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Demonstrated Successful Calibration Lead Responsibility of at least one Customer Program
