Akkodis is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist for a client based in Duncan, SC. The ideal candidate will work closely with the HR team to handle a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, training, recruitment, policy implementation, HRIS transactions, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Pay Range: $36/hr - $40/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
JOB SUMMARY:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide employee relations support and assist with benefits and HR-related inquiries.
- Conduct exit interviews, assist with onboarding, and support recruitment efforts.
- Maintain HRIS records, generate reports, and ensure legal compliance (e.g., affirmative action).
- Assist with pension matters, employee engagement, and talent acquisition activities.
- Participate in HR training, policy development, and compliance meetings.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Track and report HR metrics and KPIs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of HR experience, or a master’s with 2 years, or 7 years of relevant HR experience.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Broad knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
