Description:

*Digital Data Strategy Analyst, Customer Data Platform*

US Customer Data Office seeks an experienced Data Analyst who will be immediately deployed to requirements for our Master Data Management (MDM) platform and curated Customer 360 data product hub, specifically in the areas of:

• Premise Location and Geospatial Analysis

• Requirements and Project Management Plans for downstream applications and operationalized system-wide reporting

• Adoption of products and services

Key areas of required expertise are in data exploration and profiling, working in MDM (master data mgmt) environments with maps and spatial files, GIS and geocodes, and matching to 3rd party external data.

*Responsibilities*

• Define business operational and analytical data requirements to support implementation of customer data platform for master data management, analytics, and AI.

• Responsible for managing data integration and flow across multiple systems, ensuring seamless data consolidation and transformation for reporting and analysis.

• Features consist of concise and insightful definition of business use cases, evaluation of business value, concise descriptions, and definition of acceptance criteria.

• Elicit input from SMEs and stakeholders. Create flow charts of business processes and report mock-ups to support feature writing. Call out data inputs and measurable analytical outputs.

• Perform discovery data analysis on source system and post-process data to understand how data inputs and outputs line up to business processes.

• Present findings, business requirements, analytical representations, and action plans to technical and non-technical users, with verbal communication and written business requirement documents and PowerPoint slides.

• Conduct knowledge transfer and design sessions with technical implementation teams.

• Conduct Business-Test / User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that development meets feature requirements.

• Educate and train end-users.

• Provide status updates to scrum team and leadership.

*Qualifications*

• BA/BS in Business or STEM discipline

• 5 years of demonstrated experience writing and documenting business and functional feature requirements

• Experience with Project Management, RACI’s

• Proficient in SQL data querying and data exploration

• Proficient in exploring data sources and validating data flow and outputs

• Experience working in an agile development environment using scrum

• Experience with JIRA and Confluence, familiarity with Salesforce

• Experience with Master Data Management data environments

• Knowledge of and experience in utility companies are a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills, comfortable with ambiguity

• Excellent written and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex technical details for a non-technical audience

• Ability to work with large teams and numerous stakeholders

• Live in drivable distance to Waltham or Northboro, MA offices
