Akkodis is seeking a Remote IT Project Manager for a contract job with a client in Parsippany NJ. The successful candidate responsible for enablement of successful project delivery within the Veterinary Research and Development (VMRD) IT portfolio of projects. This role provides oversight and hands-on PM support for projects within VMRD portfolio driving successful project execution following PMO and Financial Management policies and processes.
Rate Range : $60.00 / hour to $65.00 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
IT Project Manager job responsibilities include :
- Manage IT projects focusing on project initiation, detailed planning, project plan quality and integrity, vendor management, effective communication, and project financial updates timing and accuracy.
- Planning and tracking milestones, and tasks, and managing forecast and costs to ensure on-time, on-budget, and within-scope project delivery.
- Drives progress and ensures the health of the assigned projects. Facilitates execution of project tasks to avoid delays via effective risk management and mitigation.
- Assist Portfolio Lead with coordination and execution of the quarterly and monthly project forecast updates that include cross-functional coordination, data collection, cost estimation, prioritization, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timing and quality for PMO deliverables (ex : Status Reports, Change Requests, Funds Reallocations)
- Facilitate testing processes, including pre-UAT and Operational Qualification (OQ) tests, and support end-user UAT scenarios.
