What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Technical Support position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is looking for Support Engineer Position role is a 06 Month's Contract and is in Boston, MA (Onsite).
Pay Range: $36-38/hr. (The Rate may be negotiable based on experience, Education, Geographic Location, and other factors.)
Responsibilities:
1. Break/Fix Services: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
2. Hardware/Software Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and Mobile devices.
3. IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change): Execute hardware and software installations, relocations, and upgrades according to established procedures.
4. Asset Management: Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including shipping, receiving, tracking, and inventory control.
5. Mobile Device Management (MDM): Proficiently utilize Jamf and Intune for device management, configuration, and security.
6. Apple Device Support: Provide expert support for Apple devices, including iPhones and iPads, addressing hardware and software issues.
7. Life Sciences Domain Support: Understand and address the unique IT needs and challenges of clients within the Life Sciences industry.
8. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support activities, asset inventory, and troubleshooting procedures.
Skills:
1. Experience in Life Science Industry Application like Viva Vault, OBIE, LabWare
2. Understanding of Industry Compliance Standard like GxP, HIPPA
3. Hands on Experience on Windows 11, BitLocker, Intune AutoPilot
4. Experience on Jamf Mobile Device Management
5. Experience in macOS and iOS device management
6. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards in life sciences, particularly regarding data protection and secure communications.
7. Proven experience in providing both remote support (via remote desktop tools, phone, or chat) and on-site deskside support
8. Ability to quickly respond to service tickets, troubleshoot issues, and resolve hardware/software problems efficiently.
