Akkodis is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in infrastructure design, automation, and system administration, with a focus on Unix, Windows, Middleware, and Database systems.

Rate Range : $65 / hour to $73 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Infrastructure Engineer job responsibilities include :

Designing and integrating infrastructure tools and services to support business strategies.

Developing automation, templates, and playbooks to streamline technical deployments.

Ensuring compliance with architectural governance, standards, and policies.

Identifying and implementing improvements for infrastructure reliability and efficiency.

Collaborating with teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in infrastructure services.

Desired Qualifications :

Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

At least 8 years of expert-level experience in infrastructure design.

Strong understanding of Unix, Windows, Middleware, and Database systems.

Experience with automation tools like Ansible and virtualization technologies (e.g., ESX, VMware).

Proven experience in system / database / middleware administration in large-scale environments, preferably in financial services.

Pay Details : $65.00 to $73.00 per hour
