Akkodis is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in infrastructure design, automation, and system administration, with a focus on Unix, Windows, Middleware, and Database systems.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $73.00 per hour

Requirements

Infrastructure Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Designing and integrating infrastructure tools and services to support business strategies.
- Developing automation, templates, and playbooks to streamline technical deployments.
- Ensuring compliance with architectural governance, standards, and policies.
- Identifying and implementing improvements for infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborating with teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in infrastructure services.
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- At least 8 years of expert-level experience in infrastructure design.
- Strong understanding of Unix, Windows, Middleware, and Database systems.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible and virtualization technologies (e.g., ESX, VMware).
- Proven experience in system/database/middleware administration in large-scale environments, preferably in financial services.
Pay Details: $65.00 to $73.00 per hour
