Akkodis is seeking an IT Plant Manager for a Fulltime position with a client located in Wentzville, MO. Ideally looking for someone with a MES background, automotive experience.
Salary Range: $85,000 to $125,000/ Year(The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Location: Wentzville, MO (Onsite 6 days a week, no Sunday)
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an IT Plant Manager to oversee all IT-related activities at our Wentzville, MO facility. This role is essential in managing infrastructure, manufacturing software, and business operations, ensuring seamless IT functionality to support plant operations. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help shape the plant’s culture.
Education & Experience:
- MES background, automotive experience, who can communicate well with the hourly team
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an IT Manager role.
- Experience creating strategic IT plans.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Project management experience.
- Training and developing direct reports.
- Organization and planning experience.
Technical Skills:
- SQL Server database software
- Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- VMware, PC, RF, Printing, Server, and Network Storage Systems
- Networking knowledge and troubleshooting backup technologies
- Industry-based IT tools
What You Will Do:
- Oversee daily IT activities at the plant level, including employee support.
- Manage plant-related IT budgets and assist in corporate-level IT budget planning.
- Supervise IT Plant Support Specialists and third-party maintenance services.
- Ensure seamless operation of network, hardware, software, and telecommunications.
- Plan and implement IT applications, infrastructure, and resource acquisition.
