Akkodis is looking for an experienced Lead Test Automation Engineer and It's a hybrid role in New Castle, DE on Direct Hire basis. This person should be with a blend of hands-on technical expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of IoT-connected instruments and web applications. **Must be local folks only**
Pay Range: $160k- $180k; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities:
- 10 years in software testing and automation, with a focus on web applications.
- 2 years in a leadership role with experience in IoT or instrumentation-based systems.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in C# (.NET Core), Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with .NET Core for building and testing web applications and APIs.
- Expertise in tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, and JMeter for automation.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, WebSockets) and cloud integrations (AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
- Testing Methodologies
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Experience in Agile environments.
