Akkodis is seeking a Manager of IT Infrastructure for a Direct-Hire job with a client located in Newark, DE (Hybrid).
Pay Range: $140,000 to $160,000; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of, and personnel within, the Systems Administration and Technology Support functions of the IT organization. The position requires formulating priorities consistent with the organization’s vision while being responsive to growth & cybersecurity. Lastly, the position is responsible for fostering the growth of capabilities of the department and the individuals therein.
DUTIES:
- Maintain and Develop the IT Infrastructure Group’s Lifecycle Operations
- Oversee all aspects of IT Infrastructure, including the below, along with all supporting components and personnel:
- Servers & appliances (hardware, operating systems, hypervisors, storage, etc.) -Electronic Communications (voice, cellular, email, fax, telecommunication lines, etc.
- Technology Support (workstations/laptops, peripherals, operating systems, software, etc.)
- Physical Environment (Server rooms, DR sites, etc.)
- Microsoft based products
- Non-enterprise scale business applications
- Webservers
- Backup & recovery
- Monitoring tools
- Authentication and Authorization
- Assures that a roadmap and lifecycle are developed for the portfolio
- Anticipate and identify technology/business needs, implementing new technology, hardware, software, processes, applications, and services, along with enhancements to existing products
- Maintain and develop monitoring tools and programs for Infrastructure, including security, performance, data, functionality, and configurations
- Drafts, analyzes, and implements IT infrastructure-related technology, requirements, rules, processes, information flow, project plans, recommendations, functional and technical specifications, configuration, automation, issue remediation, and enhancements
- Plan and execute corrective efforts to prevent and correct security vulnerabilities within IT infrastructure
- Plans and Develops the Annual Budget, Application Roadmap, & Project Schedule
- Monitors all expenses and capital expenditures against budgeted expectations
- Prepares draft budgets (personnel, expense, and capital) for submission
- Assist staff with developing application roadmaps, isolating critical decision points and paths forward
- Assures the use of approved methodologies for initiatives related to IT Infrastructure including scoping, product feature/cost comparisons, requests for proposals, statements of work, licensing agreements, project plans, quality assurance, implementation, and continuous monitoring
- Set project priorities according to strategic and tactical imperatives
- Assures Compliance to Controls, Policies, and Regulatory filings
- Enforce adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley key controls, company policies, and department practices
- Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, licensing, contractual obligations, and regulations
- Comply with and support activities initiated by Audit & Cybersecurity Security personnel
- Employ persons with appropriate skills and experience; provide training paths and supervision
- Routinely assesses the staffing pattern, delegation of work, volume, and workflow to assure efficiency and effectiveness
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of ten years’ experience in Infrastructure support, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Masters’ degree preferred. Three or more years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing.
- Mastery of IT virtualization, networking, operating systems, shared storage, telecommunications, databases, IT security, and backup/disaster recovery concepts. Knowledgeable in a combination of Linux, Windows, Active Directory, VMWare, Oracle Virtualization, Microsoft Exchange, Mitel Phone System.
