Akkodis is seeking a Manual QA Tester for a contract position with a client located in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis.
Pay / Salary Range : $60.00hr - $70.00 / hr
Manual QA job responsibilities include :
- Execute manual test cases and report defects to the development team.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Document and track defects, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide a quality perspective.
- Ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements and user expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
