Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III for a Contract job with a client in Marlborough, MA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in manufacturing validations to troubleshoot and optimize production processes, ensuring goals for quality, delivery, cost, and safety are met.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Manufacturing Engineer III job responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and support manufacturing validations to achieve production goals related to quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Collaborate with RD, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing on complex projects.
Generate innovative solutions to support process and equipment validation.
Complete complex engineering work and contribute to new product development and product support activities.
Select and apply process improvement techniques to solve complex problems and make equipment/process recommendations.
Analyze and summarize complex test results, drawing conclusions and preparing detailed reports.
Design and coordinate engineering tests and experiments to support product and process improvements.
Manage and document project goals, progress, and revisions as necessary.
Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, and equipment.
Complete and manage Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERAs).
Lead cross-functional project teams to meet production goals.
Identify, implement, and manage production goals and process improvements.
Train, develop, and provide direction to operators, technicians, and engineers.
Maintain compliance with all quality requirements, building quality into every aspect of the work.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering or a related field.
4-8 years with a bachelor s degree, or 3-6 years with a master s degree in manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with manufacturing validations, TMVs, and documentation reviews.
Familiarity with CM/OEM processes, risk assessments, and Jabil Supplier experience is a plus.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $58.00 per hour
