Manufacturing Engineer

Akkodis is seeking Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Minnetonka, MN. The ideal candidate will design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to enhance productivity and product quality.

Note: Shift Time- 3:30 PM to 2 AM

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Managing projects related to new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions.
• Providing technical mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Conducting Process FMEAs and Process Validations.
• Improving product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput using Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Coordinating the design, procurement, build, and debugging of tooling, machinery, and test equipment.
• Collaborating with Product Development to ensure Design for Manufacturability.
• Supporting divisional initiatives in alignment with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Lean manufacturing concepts and process improvement techniques.
• Experience with designing and developing tooling, machinery, and test equipment.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
