Akkodis is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team for a contractual role with a major Aerospace client in the Gainesville, TX area.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $43/hour to $53/hour, which may be adjusted based on individual qualifications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing structural sub-assemblies and drawings, reviewing drawing packages to ensure conformance to requirements, and submitting completed drawings to project leads for approval and release.
Applicants should possess a strong background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as proficiency in CATIA V5 (or higher) and/or Pro/Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting skills, be able to provide complicated layouts and program design studies, and generate written communication.
