Mechanical System Design Engineer

The Systems Engineer is a key member of our team responsible for designing and estimating costs for dust collectors and dust collection systems. This role requires close collaboration with the Production Engineering group, providing sales support as needed, and traveling to customer locations to offer engineering services such as troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and estimating costs for dust collectors and dust collection systems
• Providing sales support to Sales personnel and customers
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Creating quotes by preparing bills of materials and labor cost estimates
• Preparing detailed and accurate quotations for customers
• Modifying drawings to incorporate changes and updates
• Maintaining databases and recording data and drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.M.E.) required
• Industrial Ventilation Certification required
• 5-10 years of experience designing Industrial Ventilation systems for Dust collection required
• 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering design of dust collection systems required
• Experience with ERP and bills of materials work required

• Strong technical skills in mechanical engineering and industrial ventilation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
