Akkodis is seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Production Process Improvement Engineer. This role will focus on optimizing production processes, implementing continuous improvement and lean concepts, and ensuring equipment uptime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with high-voltage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize current production processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Coach plants in continuous improvement, standardization, and lean concepts
- Assist plants in addressing equipment downtime issues
- Develop and implement preventative/predictive industrial maintenance practices
- Oversee PM programs for manufacturing equipment
- Assist in equipment spare part management
- Provide input on new equipment design and purchase decisions
- Support new model/equipment launch as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Experience working with high-voltage electrical systems (480V and above)
- 2-4 years of experience as an electrical engineer in a similar role
