Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Joliet, IL (Hybrid) . You will be responsible for managing and supporting storage solutions, including platforms like NetApp, Dell EMC, and Azure, ensuring the optimal performance and availability of IT infrastructure.
Rate Range : $70 / hour to $75 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator job responsibilities include :
- Configuring and maintaining backup systems like Dell EMC Data Domain and Veritas NetBackup, with additional experience in Cohesity a plus
- Monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of Wintel, Linux, and VMware platforms from a storage perspective
- upporting production release management systems and implementing IT changes for storage and backup platforms
- Automating regular processes, tracking issues, and documenting changes to improve operational efficiency
- Providing 24 / 7 support and participating in on-call rotation for critical production systems
- Assisting in the coordination and implementation of planned infrastructure changes for business and IT clients
- Engaging with business and IT partners to ensure service levels and high availability of server computer services
- Maintaining knowledge of new technologies and recommending improvements for on-prem and cloud-based services.

Pay Details : $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
