Akkodis is seeking a Vehicle Fleet Operations & Systems Specialist for a 6 month hybrid opportunity with our Fortune 500 IT client in Atlanta, GA.
Rate: $33 - $37/hr. on W2 The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Are you passionate about fleet operations, troubleshooting hardware/software, and ensuring seamless logistics? We’re looking for a Vehicle Fleet Operations & Systems Specialist to oversee daily fleet activities, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance vehicle uptime and quality.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee fleet operations, ensuring KPIs are met in coordination with driver management
- Manage shipping and receiving logistics for on-site equipment, maintaining accurate tracking and communication with internal teams and manufacturers
- Work closely with the vehicle operations team to enhance the efficiency and quality of fleet performance
- Assemble and maintain computer hardware in vehicles
- Create tools and processes to automate operations support and keep the fleet running smoothly
- Conduct daily fleet deployment checks to uphold operational quality standards
- Monitor alerts and dashboards for vehicle performance, taking appropriate actions and remediation
- Track and log vehicle conditions, ensuring incidents and anomalies are properly reported.
- Serve as smart hands for remote engineering teams, assisting with troubleshooting tasks and other projects that contribute to operational improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in server/computer hardware troubleshooting
- 3 years in vehicle fleet/hardware operations (AV or Mapping experience a plus)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets & SOP documentation
- Linux troubleshooting and Python scripting (a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Must be based in Atlanta, GA
