We are seeking a dedicated Compounding Technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on compounding various pharmaceuticals with precision and care. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining our lab's excellence through regular cleaning, maintenance, and participation in audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow proprietary formulations to accurately compound prescriptions.
- Maintain and calibrate compounding equipment ensuring accurate documentation.
- Participate in regular audits, inspections, and continuous education in compounding.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage the disposal of chemicals properly.
- Uphold the lab’s standards for safety, accuracy, and potency in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Basic understanding of pharmacology and compounding processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical compounding preferred but not required, will train on specific requirements.
- Familiarity with USP 795, 800, cGMP, and FDA 503B guidelines is beneficial.
