Job Summary :
This Senior Business Analyst role is at the heart of digital banking transformation, supporting the Alto digital banking application project with a focus on definition and analysis of business requirements to inform technology build and operations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical and business analysis skills, helping to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions within the banking sector, specifically digital and retail banking. The role offers an initial 9-month contract with potential for extension and conversion to full-time employment, supporting hybrid work arrangements for candidates local to Chicago, or offering fully remote options.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements.
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and document user stories in collaboration with the Product Owner.
Support project teams through design, development, and testing phases with clear guidance and clarification.
Develop comprehensive project documentation covering both functional and non-functional business requirements.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert and support all phases of Testing and Post-Production validation.
Must-Have Skills :
Extensive experience in business analysis within the banking industry.
Proven competence with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Strong stakeholder management abilities, including experience with senior-level stakeholders.
Industry Experience :
Prior experience in banking, with a preference for candidates with retail banking or deposits knowledge.
Familiarity with Digital Banking Platforms and SaaS products, with bonus points for those experienced with FIS Modern Banking Platform and Digital One products.
