Job Details
Role: Implementation Specialists install, monitor, and customize clients' systems for patient care infrastructure portfolio after an initial purchase of hardware or software. Patient care infrastructure includes patient monitoring, telemetry, Carescape network, Carescape Gateway, etc.
Primary Projects:
Cisco IP Phone Migration: 2-3 individuals for 6 months, on and off shift work, significant travel within Central Illinois.
Network WAN Deployment (SD-WAN): 3 individuals for 12 months. Replace WAN routers and LAN switches at direction of network engineer. 115 locations throughout Illinois, significant travel, on and off shift work.
Clinic Wireless Refresh: 2 individuals for 12 months. Replace existing access points with new model. 115 locations throughout Illinois, this work will trail behind the Network WAN Deployment. Significant travel, on and off shift work.
Responsibilities:
Primary installation role responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales, Project Manager, Network Design and Digital services, customer IT and biomed to implement solutions sold.
Use technical knowledge to install, monitor, and customize clients' systems after an initial purchase of hardware or software.
Ensure a client doesn't only buy a product but has a positive experience with it.
Assess and remediate existing infrastructure to support installation of new solution.
May also perform installation, validation, and connectivity on assigned equipment.
Function as co-lead; develop and maintain relationships and frequent communications with customers and sales to proactively identify customer needs, ensure resolution, proper follow-up, and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Consult with IT and biomed on customer requirements for installation and address cyber security concerns.
Mentoring and coaching local FE on installed solution.
Responsible for prompt administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, technical project plans, technical walk thru and post warranty conversations with customer.
Provide instruction to personnel on equipment operation, diagnostics, effective use, and repair.
Supports engineering new product releases
Qualifications:
Bachelors or associates degree or equivalent experience
4 years of experience installing and configuring network equipment (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, wireless access points, phone systems, etc.)
1 year of demonstrated leadership experience
CompTIA Network and/or CCNA certifications are a major plus
Demonstrated experience with communicating and remediating networking infrastructure
Demonstrated experience implementing disaster recovery procedures
Understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
Understanding of cyber security vulnerabilities
Need to have a valid driver's license and a reliable car for travel
Willingness to be available "after hours" and potentially weekends for critical issues and coverage as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Candidate must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.
Candidate must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.
Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
