Job Summary :
The main scope of this position is to carry out all external technical service operations by keeping customer satisfaction and the core values of the company at the forefront of all decisions. A primary aspect of this role is serving as the liaison between Aksa Power Generation and the public by managing all customer submitted warranty claims throughout the entire warranty claim workflow process. As a Warranty Technician for Aksa Power Generation, you will provide the customer with all warranty registration & paperwork, prepare warranty documents, submit paperwork to the manufacturer as needed, track the status of all claims, and report any nonconformities to the appropriate channels. You will also be responsible for scheduling warranty appointments, performing technical troubleshooting and recommended repairs at the customer site as needed, coordinating with vendors for replacement parts, working with the various department leaders to resolve observed nonconformity issues with corrective actions, and keeping up to date on all factory recalls.
Responsibilities :
- Discuss the warranty claim process and expectations with customers.
- Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Submit claims quickly and efficiently to ensure minimum downtime for customers.
- Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly.
- Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work.
- Keep accurate inventory of ordered warranty parts and organize vendor paperwork.
- Dispatch authorized 3rd party service technicians when applicable.
- Create service targets and prepare periodic service reports.
- Present these prepared service reports to the relevant managers.
- Make business plans in line with the company’s quality policy and targets, to take action within these plans in order to achieve the planned service targets.
- Establish close communication with current and potential customers, to develop these relations and to complete service activities.
- Plan and manage the necessary activities for malfunction, assembly, periodic controls and commissioning processes.
- Determine and supply all kinds of purchasing needs related to the maintenance and repair of generators.
- Make the necessary guidance and organization to eliminate the malfunctions that may occur during installation, maintenance and repair as soon as possible and at the most affordable cost.
- Informing the team about the current situation to achieve the determined service targets and providing feedback to the service team by determining a correct roadmap.
- Developing activities to increase customer satisfaction and analyzing the results, maintaining customer loyalty.
- Work in conjunction with the production, testing, and engineering teams at the Conroe, TX facility when not on service calls.
Qualifications :
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree- various engineering faculties like Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, etc. is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience as a warranty technician.
