Instructional Designer

Position: Instructional Designer/Learning and Development Consultant
Location: 407 C St W, Randolph AFB, TX 78150

Client: Air Education and Training Command

Job Type: Full-Time – Hybrid.

Please note: Currently, all employees are working in a hybrid model with two days in the office per week. However, one section of employees alternates between three days in the office one week and two days in the office the next week. This hybrid model is subject to change based on government guidelines.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements: Division A3J

• Responsible for requirements management, mission system sustainment, and strategic planning of the standard operating environment and systems to deliver learning services capabilities.

• We support the development, validation, assessment, and implementation of foundational and occupational competencies.

• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs; understand using social media as a learning platform; knowledgeable of developments in augmented.

• Familiar with the operation of learning management/student information systems.

• Individuals should understand IT integration and systems used to document learning achievements. Individuals shall also have experience in distance learning and expertise in facilitating working groups.

• Experience in communication, marketing, and the military is desired but is not required.

• A Program Management certification or a strong understanding of project management is desired.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree is required, and a minimum of five years of experience in fields specifically related to adult education, learning science, learning methodologies, educational technology, competency-based learning, competency-based assessment/evaluation, and academic leadership. (Example GS-1750 Instructional System Specialist or equivalent).

• A3J requires some Human Resources Management (Personnel Development) experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
