What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marines JROTC Instructor position at Alabama Department of Education?

Qualifications :

Current Alabama Teacher's Certification
Bachelor's Degree or Higher
Certified or certifiable by the United States Marines Cadet Command in accordance with Marines certification standards

Essential Duties

To perform duties as a Marines instructor / MPS teacher in a public high school Marines program

To establish a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth

To teach classes in accordance with standards outlined by the Marine regulations and MPS guidelines and procedures

To operate within the military chain of command as well as the Montgomery Public School system

To establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors
