Network Manager - Central Office
Job Goal / Summary : To assist the Network Specialist (Network Administrator) in essential duties to ensure the stability and integrity of the corporate network environment by providing day-to-day support and maintenance of the corporate network and server infrastructure including but not limited to all servers and all platforms, Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Qualifications :
- Must have an Associate's degree and three (3) year's in a computer related field
- Valid driver's license, required
- Cisco CCNA or Network Certification (preferred)
- Cisco wired and wireless networking
- Network Security (firewalls, antivirus, network access control, etc.)
- DNS and DHCP server
- experience
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Familiarity with Windows and Apple based products
- Active Directory and Group Policy experience
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Reports To : Coordinator of Technology
Background Check Required : (HB 402 ACT 99-361 Alabama Legislature) Upon offer of employment, employees will be required to submit legible fingerprints for a background review by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Background checks must not be more than 10 years old.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Expected Employment : 240 days (full year)
Evaluation : According to established Board policies and administrative procedures and guidelines.
Salary Range : According to Madison City Schools Salary Schedule (Salary based on employment for complete year). Up to 10 years experience will be counted for new employees who provide documentation of full-time experience in the area of concentration.
