Description
The HR Administrative Specialist performs high level administrative duties of a specialized and complex nature under limited supervision. May prepare complex reports, oversee office administration, set up and maintain files, and attend meetings.
Responsibilities
- Performs administrative duties in support of the Executive Leadership and Human Resources. Responds to routine requests from Team members and may assist in internal communication efforts.
- Required to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects successfully.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
- Manages retention of files in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and CU policies.
- Plans and executes Credit Union meetings and special events.
- Serves as a liaison with Credit Union Directors. May schedule and attend committee meetings as necessary, as well as recording minutes and preparing related documentation.
- Utilizes HR and other systems to develop and prepare reports as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Candidates considered for this position must pass multiple competency tests.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED and a minimum of four (4) years of highly responsible general office experience; OR associate's degree and two years of highly responsible general office experience; OR Bachelor's degree or higher. This position requires a significant amount of discretion and a high degree of confidentiality. Must possess a high attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency working with standard computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe suite.
Strong preferences for candidates with at least two years of administrative support in the field of Human Resources. Experience working with Paylocity platform.
