What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Tennis Coach position at Alabama State Department of Education?
Qualifications
Acts under the direction of the Head Coach
- Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the
- Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
- Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program
- Must have or be willing to obtain CDL
Acts under the direction of the Head Coach
- Individual is responsible for all aspects of the tennis program
- Applicants must be a team player and willing to work with athletes of various ability levels
- Must have a strong understanding of the activities and development of tennis
- Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sports
