Duties and Responsibilities:
Online Program Oversight:
Lead the strategic planning, development, and management of all online programs.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality online education that aligns with the University's mission and academic standards.
Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to enhance and expand online course offerings.
Support for Learning Initiatives:
Assist the Provost in developing and implementing innovative learning initiatives across the University.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning through the integration of technology and pedagogical best practices.
Provide leadership in the adoption of new learning technologies and methodologies.
A PhD in a relevant field, professional experience in online education, including program development, instructional design, and delivery, proven expertise in digital communications, with a strong understanding of current trends and technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale academic projects and initiatives, have exceptional leadership and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external partners, and be a strategic thinker with a vision for the future of online education and academic communications.
