Alabama State University, Institutional Advancement, invites applicants to fill the position of Director of the Copy Exchange Center. This position reports to the Executive Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing. Provides various copy and printing functions, including black and white copies, color copies, faxing, lamination, graphic arts printing, large format printing and providing use of graphic arts software within the Copy Exchange.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises and trains personnel; determines work priorities, plans, schedules, assigns and reviews work
Facilitate the completion of various university copying/printing requests (letterhead, business cards, etc.)
Operates multifunctional high speed copiers and related equipment. Performs material handling activities such as moving supplies and cases of paper, assisting in loading and unloading copiers and stocking shelves.
Oversees the operational readiness and safety of equipment.; cleans, adjusts and performs routine repairs and maintenance of equipment as needed.
Responds to customer service inquiries and requests.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications, proficient with HTML, content management systems and design software, general knowledge of and skills in the operation and maintenance of multifunctional high speed copiers and related equipment, skilled in setting up and operating high speed copiers to meet complex job specifications. effective communication skills both orally and in writing, experience planning and supervising a copy center's operations, and must be able to lift, transport and stock copier supplies, paper, and related equipment.
