Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional policies, including graduate curriculum, budgets, requisitions, and travel
- Monitor the Graduate School budget, process requisitions, and manage travel requests
- Coordinate communication with external agencies and serve as the liaison with Institutional Research for data collection
- Assist with the application portal and oversee student records
- Collaborate wit colleges,, programs, staff and stakeholder4s to improve policies and procedures
- Manage supplies, orders and office organization
- Coordinate maintenance, submit work orders, and process documents
- Plan Graduate School event and oversee details
- Support prospective student recruitment through admission and provide project support as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of experience in higher education admissions or a closely related area, strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability engage effectively with a wide rang of stakeholders, demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment, have experience with budget maintenance and requests, experience with the use of collaborative video conferencing, i.e. Zoom, for virtual events and individual meetings, and with an Enterprise Resource Management system, and be proficient with general technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, etc. are required.
