$21.87 - $30.27 per hour
Monday - Friday 6:00 - 2:30 pm
The purpose of this position is to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on Wastewater Treatment machinery, pumps, electrical apparatus, etc. and to operate heavy equipment and machinery to ensure proper operations. Some evenings / weekend work may be needed.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance/repairs on a variety of equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose, maintain, and perform mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance on equipment, pumps, engines, motor, generators, valves, water tanks, chlorinators, controls, or other components; troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems; dismantle, repair, and reassemble electric motors; re-wire electrical panels; replace parts; repacks pumps; performs welding/fabrication tasks associated with equipment repairs; performs preventive maintenance tasks.
- Install/upgrade mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and/or program PLCs, flow meters, pressure devices, and collectors
- Test machinery, equipment and parts for proper operations; reports problem situations or refers problems to appropriate personnel; sends malfunctioning machinery to appropriate repair shops.
- Perform welding/fabrication tasks as needed; cut metals using plasma cutters, torches, chop saw, and/or grinder.
- Operate various heavy machinery, equipment, and tools associated with work activities, which may include a mobile crane, forklift, generator, air compressor, motors, pumps, blowers, valves, drill press, grinder, welder, torch, pipe saw, band saw, mechanic tools, electrician tools, plumbing tools, carpentry tools, diagnostic instruments, two-way radio, or general office equipment.
- Inspect vehicles, equipment, and tools; perform general/preventive maintenance tasks necessary to keep such items operable condition.
- Fuel vehicles and equipment.
- Attend and participate in safety meetings; abide by safety protocols and help maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
