Job Summary:
Alacriant, Inc is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and lead mid to large-scale projects related to new product launches within our fabrication company. This role will require managing projects that involve both in-house operations and external contract manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex projects and ensuring alignment with production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead mid to large-scale projects, ensuring the successful execution of new product launches from design to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain and quality teams in-house, as well as external partners, to develop and optimize fabrication processes.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, risk, and resources, ensuring milestones are met and any issues with external partners are addressed promptly.
- Analyze project data and track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project success, particularly in coordination with contract manufacturers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, schedules, and action plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Business or related field required.
- 3 years of experience managing mid to large-scale projects in manufacturing or fabrication environments.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage both internal and external teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and managing external partnerships.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes (welding, CNC machining, laser cutting, press brake forming).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, blueprint reading, and GD&T preferred
- PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
